Chapter 8 - 'Lord Vishnu'

I changed my job after COVID-19 and moved to a different city. I joined my new company on Monday. Initially, I was staying with my close family for a temporary period.

I started searching for a room or a paying guest (PG accommodation). I updated my contact details on some home search websites.

It was a Saturday. I received one call on my mobile at around 11 AM. The guy was a property broker. He asked me to visit a site for a potential purchase. I refused because I was not looking for buying a property; I was looking for a rental property.

He insisted again and again, but each time, I refused.

He asked me, "Sir, what are you doing today?"

I said, "Nothing. I want to take some rest."

He again asked me to visit. I thought, "At least I should see how such presentation happens. I will be buying a flat in the future, but today I will go and understand the process."

I did not take a bath. I was wearing a simple T-shirt and track pants/pajamas (a lower). I was wearing normal slippers. It was homely attire.

Anyway, I visited the site.

He asked me, "What should I show you?"

I told him, "I don't want to buy anything. I came because you asked me to. Show me whatever you wish to."

He showed me a 3 BHK flat. I liked it. It was my first experience of visiting a building site.

I asked about the price. The property broker told me the price.

I didn't have the money at that moment, but I liked the property.

Suddenly, I decided to go with the property. I said 'Yes' to buying it.

This was my life's first site visit, the first flat which I saw, and I bought it.

The broker who called me, his name was 'Vishnu'.

I felt like it was 'Lord Vishnu' himself who came and showed me a way.
