Chapter 4 - 'Ahobilam Forest'

I saw an animated movie of 'Lord Narasimha'. After some days, my aunt advised me to visit 'Ahobilam' and shared the details with me. It was the first time I had heard about this place. I felt like God had sent his invitation to me through my aunt.

Ahobilam is a forest area. 'Lord Narasimha' appeared out of a pillar and killed the demon 'Hiranyakashipu' at that same place.

I started my journey alone. I changed two buses to reach 'Ahobilam'. There was poor telecom network. I could not interact with people because of language issue. I was not able to find a place to stay, nor could I understand the local arrangements. I was searching for the help near the bus stand.

The moment I became helpless, a guy stopped his bike. He asked me about my concern. We both were somehow able to communicate well with each other. Partially he understood me, and partially I understood him.

He arranged a room for me. He took me to all the places. He did a 2-3 km trek with me. He demonstrated everything to me. He convinced the priests to do a prayer for me.

I asked his name. His name was 'Chinna Narasimha'.

I felt like 'Lord Narasimha' himself came and helped me out.
